Scaled "Blue" Quail

Our hunting areas in Western Texas are unsurpassed
for some of the highest densities of birds and best habitat not only in
the state, but also in the country for fast flying "blues."
Increased rainfall during hatches the past few years has resulted in
unbelievable quail numbers, in addition to our ideal habitat consisting of
numerous varieties of brush for plenty of cover and more than ample water
sources to support our coveys.
|
 |
Our hunting methods consist of
driving the main roads on over 150,000 acres of prime habitat in Jeeps
flushing birds and going after them on foot. Most clients are
limited out before noon daily and elect to shoot predators or just simply
enjoy the surroundings of some of our spectacular properties we lease.
On an average day you can expect to see at least 20 coveys of birds with
non-stop shooting action and great camaraderie with friends and family.
With prime ranches and first class facilities, this is an |
|
exciting wing shoot for corporate groups, fathers
and sons, families or friend and there is no better way to spend a weekend
in Texas. We rival you to find a finer blue quail operation in Texas
and look forward to seeing you this fall.
