Texas has one of the highest bird populations in the country for Rio Grande Turkey with almost 1 million Rio Grande Turkey statewide. By popular request, we have started offering Rio Grande turkey hunting in Western and Central Texas with high success rates of over 100% on mature Rio Grande toms.
We have done the research and have acquired some hunting areas that are second to none for chasing Rio Grande long beards with personalized service and high success by facilitating a limited amount of hunts. We primarily hunt by walking and calling these birds and strategic ground blind placement near roosting and feeding areas. These all-inclusive Rio Grande Turkey hunts include two gobblers and may be combined with other animals depending on which area of the state we are conducting this hunt.
